I was stoked to get my hands on the DIY Terrarium Kit from Masons Home Decor that can make two terrarium. These mini indoor gardens are definitely something to liven up my home and workplace with a little green and beauty!

The DIY kit comes with shovels, assorted decorative pebbles, mix soil, six succulents, one spray bottle and two glass jars. The instructions were relatively easy to follow.

Building a Terrarium

1. Place a layer of small stones at the bottom of the container
2. Add thick layer of soil mix over stones
3. Dig up holes about 2 to 3 cm deep to add your plants in
4. Arrange your plants as desired, cover up roots with soil
5. Decorate the expose area with gravel, stones, rocks and ornaments

Taking Care of your Succulents

– Place the terrarium in moderate to indirect sunlight
– Water the plants moderately, once every week
– Do not overwater if the soil is moist/damp
– Rotate the terrarium frequently to ensure same amount of sunlight for every plant
