Foodpanda opens Central Kitchen at Woodlands Industrial Xchange for Northerners

You know how frustrating it can be when the area you live in has barely any good food around, and while food delivery apps are supposed to help bring your favourite Korean fried chicken or acai bowl right to your doorstep, you realise these places don’t even deliver to your area.

Recently, Foodpanda has just made these a reality. For those, like me, living in the ulu North of Singapore, we can now have a wider share of delicious food delivered to our house.

Foodpanda has launched its first central kitchen at Woodlands Industrial Xchange, that accomodates additional F&B outlets to do deliveries to Northerners. Some outlets include Nene Chicken, Crystal Jade La Mian Xiao Long Bao, Ichiban Bento, Kaffe & Toast, Saap Saap Thai and Wingzone!

Filled with excitement, I ordered from Nene Chicken (which sells my most favourited chicken wings since its first opening at The Star Vista) from Foodpanda. Though Nene Chicken has 8 outlets islandwide, the closest store is at Junction 9, Yishun.

Currently, there is also a promotion of free delivery for any orders from Nene Chicken (North).

Wings and Sticks (4 Pcs): $7.50

Curly Fries: $3.50

Pickled Radish: $1.90

Delivery: FREE

Total: $12.90

The Freaking Hot sauce was one of the hottest sauce I ever had. Not for the faint-hearted, it would burn your lips red and bite your tongue to a satisfying numbness.

As for the curly fries, I would still order this again and again. They were simply addictive.
