Feeka Coffee Roasters – Cafe at Bukit Bintang, KL Malaysia
Feeka Coffee Roasters is among those cafes in KL that open early for morning-goers. We arrived around 9-ish on a weekday and there were already several patrons having their breakfast and coffee.
Boasting a well-trimmed alfresco, the mini garden receives ample sunlight and the morning breeze. As for the interior, it is cozy and spacious, good for large groups too.
The cafe serves brunch, and smoothies bowl in the morning, before switching to lunch and dinner menu after 12noon. Desserts are whole day affair – check out their cakes on display too.
We started off with a bundt cake – Orange and Poppy Seed Butter Cake RM11 per slice, which was rather visually appealing. The sponge cake was moist and I could taste a lingering citrusy, fruitiness and nuttiness to it. It was a lovely cake though a tad sweet, perhaps better paired with a cup of hot tea to even the taste.
Wanting to have something healthy, we had the Red Dragonfruit Smoothie Bowl RM19. Aesthetically beautiful, it came in a bright purplish-pink colour due to the blend of Red Dragonfruit within. The smoothie tasted strongly of banana and it was luxuriously smooth and thick. Coupled with more fruits, crunchy granola, coconut flakes and oats on top, this could well be a filling and nutritious breakfast.
Feeka Coffee Roasters offers a pleasant and tranquil environment for diners and students to study as well. Perhaps next time we will try the other dishes on their menu and get our caffeine fix too.
