As for the Zespri Sungold Kiwifruit, the flesh is a yellowish gold colour with a significantly sweeter taste compared to all the kiwifruits I ever had. The texture is softer, more delicate while the fruit itself has one of the highest ranking in health benefits amongst all other fruits.

Zespri Kiwifruit Acai Bowl Recipe

I decided to create something different! So, here is my rendition of the Acai Bowl blended and topped with more Zespri Green and Sungold Kiwifruits.

Ingredients:

  1. Zespri Green and Sungold Kiwifruits
  2. 1 Frozen Acai Berry Pack (easily gotten from supermarkets)
  3. Blackberries (or bananas, strawberries)
  4. Chia Seeds
  5. Milk (or Skim milk, soy milk, yogurt)
  6. Ice Blender
  7. Ice Cubes
  8. Bowl
  9. Spoon

Steps:

  1. Chopped into cubes 1 Zespri Green and Sungold Kiwifruits respectively
  2. Add chopped kiwifruits into blender
  3. Add Acai base
  4. Add 10 ice cubes
  5. Add 1 cup of milk
  6. Blend until it turns into a thick smoothie
  7. Empty content into a bowl
  8. Slice 1 Zespri Green and Sungold Kiwifruits respectively
  9. Decorate with your desired fruits like blackberries and kiwifruits
  10. Sprinkle the surface with chia seeds

Time: 10 minutes
