Yanmi Yogurt (Funan) – This popular chewy Purple-rice Yogurt Drink is the next healthy alternative to Bubble Tea
The popular Yanmi Yogurt brand that has stirred up a storm in China and Sydney, has finally come to Singapore. Officially opened in Funan on 26 October 2019, Yanmi Yogurt specialises in yoghurt drinks flavoured with fruits, vegetables or healthy grains.
There is an ongoing 1-for-1 opening promotion from 26 to 28 October 2019!
Featuring the signature Purple Rice Yogurt $4.30, the drink comes with chewy purple rice bits (reminiscent of pearls and as a much healthier alternative). The Chewy Oats Yogurt $4.30, Haw Purple Rice Yogurt $4.70 and Pure Pure! Avocado Yogurt $5.30 are some beauty drinks that are beneficial for health too.
Some highlights from the Fresh Fruits Yogurt series comprise of the popular Man-Mango Yogurt $4.90, Dirty Dragon Fruit Yogurt $5.30, One Passionfruit $4.30 and StrawBerry Yogurt $5.80. For something heartier, the Taro N Taro Milk $5.30 consists of a portion of tasty smooth taro at the base of the drink.
Meanwhile, the D24 Durian Yogurt $5.50 is exclusive to Singapore here.

One of my favourites is the One Passionfruit which is sourish and refreshing at the same time. The Man-Mango is a noteworthy contender too, not as sweet as I thought and generous with the mango.
The lids’ packaging is quite adorable and interesting too!
How to truly enjoy the Purple Rice Yogurt?
- Shake 10 times to ensure that the purple rice and yohurt are evenly mixed
- Let the drink settle for five minutes before drinking (as the taste would become more enhanced)
- Consume within 30 minutes to an hour to ensure its optimum freshness

Did you know that the fresh yogurt is made with Australian milk while the purple rice is imported from Mojiang Hani Autonomous County (Mojiang)?
