Tuk Tuk Cha – Mini Tom Yum Boat Noodle at $1.90 & Signature Thai Milk Tea

Boat Noodles is in trend lately! Who doesn’t love noodles, especially one that comes in a thick flavourful broth that spells of comfort and satisfaction?

Beyond the various signature thai milk tea and photogenic shibuya toast, Tuk Tuk Cha serves mains and even the miniature versions.

The mini bowl series consist of options such as the crowd-favourite Mini Tom Yum Noodle and Mini Beef Noodle.

At $1.90 per mini bowl, this could be finished in two or three mouthful if you are (and you should be) slurping up every morsel of the soup. The Mini Tom Yum broth was fiery-hot and I could feel it burning at the pits of my stomach after swallowing. What made this little bowl even more worthwhile than the ones sold in other places was that you could actually find several ingredients within it too. Somehow, it felt whole, as if you are eating a proper bowl of noodle soup.

The noodles were slightly chewy and bouncy; firm bites between my teeth. I exceptionally loved the soup for its piercing spiciness and rich profile. A few more mini bowls of this is warranted.

For those who want a heartier portion, you can also order this in their original size.
