Spuds and Aprons – Oktoberfest Meat Buffet with Outdoor Grill & Self-Serve Beer at Faber Peak

Roll up your sleeves and come with a ravenous belly for One Faber Group’s Spuds and Aprons’ Oktoberfest to be held on 21st and 22nd September 2018.

Bask in the fantastic panoramic view of the Harbourfront and Sentosa Island as you dine 100 meters above sea level at Faber Peak. If you are not afraid of heights, you can even take the cable car up from Vivocity.

This year, Spuds and Aprons has introduced two new features bound to lit up the atmosphere from 7-10PM. Look forward to an outdoor live grill featuring various meats and the first self-serve beer tap machine where you can drink to your full without being shy.

The most exciting part of the buffet, to me, was the BBQ Station – a massive grill that tirelessly marked the chicken and bratwurst with charred criss-crosses while the skin started to blister and hiss. On one edge of the grill, the char-grilled vegetables held in check by the heat made great companions to the meat affair ahead.

The heat would really get to you after a while if you stand too close to the fire! Let the chef unveil his expertise after you have made your orders and head over to the Carving Station for a smorgasbord of meats. Look out for the Crispy Pork Knuckle with Gravy, Roasted Pork Belly with Dijon Mustard and Salt Baked Whole Salmon too!

Some hot dishes include the Beer and Horseradish Braised Beef Stew, Balsamic Soy & Roasted Garlic Mushrooms, Roasted New Potatoes and Smoked Bacon, and Spaghetti in Tomato Pronto Sauce.

Moving indoors, there are cold appetisers like the Creamy Coleslaw Salad, Picnic-style Potato Salad and Cherry Tomatoes with Corn Kernels, and desserts such as the Opera Cake and Passionfruit Panna Cotta Shooters.
