Park Bench Deli – Use Eatsy App to Skip Queue for Cheesy Gourmet Sandwiches in CBD

Your favourite food could be everyone else’s favourite food too.

Imagine looking forward to a rewarding mid-day meal, and your go-to place is crowded! The feeling when your one hour lunch break becomes a reciprocal of the number of people in the queue is definitely frustrating.

But, fret not! With Eatsy App, you can enjoy your lunch break or meals during any peak period at a leisure pace. All you have to do is just make a preorder of your food using Eatsy, then head down to collect from the outlet. Simply put, you can skip the wait and jump queue!

So what’s Eatsy?

Eatsy is a mobile app that allows diners like us to be in control of our time, orders and payments. By dining in Eatsy’s merchant outlets, we can simply ‘dine in’ or ‘takeaway’, add in your companions, submit orders and split the bill among one another after the meal.

Handled electronically, we can add on new orders as and when during our meals and have our bills settled without the exchange of cash. By increasing the number of times Eatsy app is being included in our dining experience, we can even earn cashback of up to 8%!

Using Eatsy is really easy.

  1. Download Eatsy app
  2. Sign up for an account
  3. Choose ‘dine in’ or takeaway’
  4. Make orders
  5. Submit orders
  6. Make payment

Park Bench Deli is one of the merchants in Eatsy. For those fans of Park Bench Deli’s sandwiches or who have yet to try, you don’t have to be put off by the long wait given the restaurant’s popularity among locals and expats.

Eatsy makes things easier by conveniently allowing you to place your orders ahead of the rest. Whether you are dining in or takeaway, you can collect your food directly once ready.

Get $5 OFF your bill when you key in promo code ‘GWEN5‘! Applicable for any merchants in Eatsy App.

And finally I got my Patty Melt $17!

Portion was good enough to finish on its own.

Stuffed between two lightly toasted rye bread spread with PBD sauce were beef patty (that could do with more seasoning), caramelized onions, cheddar cheese and pickles. The pickles added an extra crunch and zest to the overall taste and I was glad the generous amount of cheese didn’t make it overly salty either.

Some other sandwiches include the signature Cheesesteak $16, Cubano $16 and a vegetarian option of Broccoli Falafel $14.

Beers on tap consists of the Lager $8 and Summer Ale $8 – one of the best way to chill with a sandwich in hand.
