Nom Nom Nom Food Festival Pop-up at Shaw House, 5-14 July 2019

The first edition of Nom Nom Nom has landed at Shaw House in Orchard. This pop-up food festival will be held between 5 to 14 July 2019, from 12PM to 11PM (and till 1AM on Thursday to Saturday). 

Look forward to a series of gastronomic delights and drinks from 13 F&B stalls. Besides the fun and boozes available till late, there is also a 9.3m tall duplex Venetian carousel ($8 per ride), games corner and live DJ sets to juice up the party.

Purchase a $20 coupon booklet and stand a chance to win great prizes in the Lucky Draw, with the grand prize being a 3D2N trip for two to Hong Kong (worth $1000).

 

At Nom Nom Nom, you can sample all kinds of dishes, from familiar comfort food to trending creations.

Fill up your bellies with these decadent burgers from Three Buns, a crowd-favourite here. The menu includes the popular Da Cheesemaster $15 and The Impossible Inferno Slider $15 that is really spicy with the roasted scotch bonnet salsa verde, alongside cheese, pickle and ketchup in a toasted demi brioche bun.

DIY your own rosti at 6ixs Rosti which comes in original $6 and three other flavours (Spicy $6, Cheesy $7 and Salted Egg $8), plus add-on choices of Chicken Bratwurst $3, Smoked Salmon $4 and Beef Tenderloin $6.

Take up the heat challenge at Beef Bro when you go for the Mala Beef Cubes $15. It’s spicy but not as numbing as expected. There are also other flavours such as the Cheesy Mentaiko Beef Cubes $17 and Truffle Beef Cubes $17.

For some Asian food fare, hop over to Ah Siong Gourmet for delicious bowls of QQ Light/Dark Sauce Noodles $6, Ah Ma Laksa $6 and Nonya Savoury Fried Carrot Cake $5 

Monki Cafe, on the other hand, features the drool-worthy Taiwan Braised Pork Rice $7, giant Grilled Taiwanese Sausage $4 and Durian Coconut Snowflake $12 which is perfectly cooling for the night.

Looking for some light snacks? You can grab some Tutu Kueh ($3 for 5 pieces), Muah Chee $2 and Curry Fish Ball ($2.50 for 5 pieces) too.
