Morganfield’s Christmas Sticky Bones of Hazelnut and Cranberry

Get feisty this yuletide season with Morganfield’s scrumptious Christmas feast!

Home of the Best Sticky Bones aka Pork Ribs you can find in town, Morganfield’s presents the Morgan’s Christmas Feast $149.90++ – a smorgasbord of Hazelnut Sticky Bones (half slab), Cranberry Sticky Bones (half slab), Crackling Pork Roast (600g), Gammon Ham (200g) and Sausages (3 pcs) – that is bound to whet the appetite of meat lovers!

Indulge in the delightful Somersby Summer Punch $19.90++, an upside down cider toppled over a frizzy, refreshing and fruity drink. Great for sharing.

The Christmas edition features two new creations – the Cranberry Sticky Bones and Hazelnut Sticky Bones with the former being sweeter and the later with a nutty aftertaste.

I especially loved the Hazelnut Sticky Bones. The charred surface was a light crisp covering the moist meats within. Who would have expected hazelnut and pork ribs to pair so well too!

Ala carte portion of the Cranberry/ Hazelnut Stick Bones is also available at $29.90++ (Half Slab) / $46.90++ (Full Slab), served with french fries and coleslaw.

Accompanying the meats were the Garden Salad, Roasted Potatoes, Cornbread (3 pcs), Mexican Grilled Corn (2 pcs), very tasty Roasted Cauliflower and thick slices of Roasted Pumpkin.

Don’t miss the Crackling Pork Roast $38.90+, available only for takeaway. The pork belly is actually roasted and braised. This gives it an overall crispy crackling skin and juicy meats with melt-in-mouth fats. 

3 days advanced order is required.

Fret not if you still want to get this at the restaurant!

The Crispy Golden Pork $13.90++ can be ordered directly while dining in. Served in a basket, the crispy cubes of pork belly will have you salivating for more.

Anther item only for takeaway is the Roast Chicken $32.90+. A plump and juicy 1.4kg chicken stuffed with Rosemary, onions, celery and carrots. The meat was really tender and tasty too. Note that for takeaway, the chicken will be pre-cooked.

One of my favourite is this addictive cup of Candied Bacon $9.90++ –  delectable sweet and smokey bacon strips where one serving is not even enough!

Taking a break from the meats is the Cranberry Ham Salad $15.90++ filled with lots of mesclun green and shaved gammon ham before being drizzled with a tangy and festive cranberry dressing.

Dessert is the Black Forest Lava Cake $16.90++. A spun on the traditional lava cake, this was topped with a generous scoop of dark cherry filling, sweet and sourish against the rich gooey chocolate cake. I would have loved it more should the lava flowed smoother and perhaps with an alcoholic punch to it!

What a spread we had! The time for Christmas indulgence is excusable.
