Mercure Singapore Bugis Executive Loft Staycation with Privilege Lounge Access

Mercure Singapore Bugis will remain an indelible staycation I ever been to in Singapore, especially since it is the first time I go for a staycation and to celebrate my birthday with my closest friend as well.

We stayed in the Executive Loft, one of the best room in the hotel! Located at the 14th floor, we get a bird eye view of the hotel’s surroundings. It is easy to spot shopping malls like Bugis Junction and Bugis+ which are within walking distance. The hotel’s convenient location allows easy access to various tourist hotspots such as Clarke Quay and Orchard Road too. Around Bugis area, there are many eateries, cafes and restaurants. Walk a little further down Middle Road, one can find affordable hotpot and tasty Chinese desserts, along where Liang Seah Street and South Bridge Road are.

Executive Loft

The Executive Loft resembles a two-storey apartment which has all the facilities of a house. The entrance opens to a dressing room and leads to a shower area.

Dilmah Tea and Nescafe Coffee are available in packets for us to brew our own beverages. Not to mention, the living room feels rather cosy with a plush-looking sofa in the middle facing a TV console and mini fridge, tucked underneath the staircase. For those who are on a business trip, there is a working space with table and chair.

The bedroom is located on the second floor.

Rooftop

The scenery at the rooftop is even more alluring. That said, it can get scotching hot in the day while at night, it can be breezy and doubled up as an intimate location for couples. The garden-like decoration is also an ideal OOTD spot.

Pool and Gym

Glass-walled swimming pool is the in-thing lately. Enjoy a moment of exhilaration as you swim to the edge and look down and beyond. Just right beside the pool is where the gym equipment are. In a far corner lies a smaller pool with more privacy.

Privilege Lounge

Staying in the Executive Lounge allows us access to the Privilege Lounge. In the morning, we can choose to have our breakfast in the Privilege Lounge or the Royale Restaurant. In the evening from 6PM – 8PM, alcohol and some light snacks are served as well.

Breakfast at Royale Restaurant

Staying in the hotel provides us with complimentary breakfast. One of the outstanding dishes is the scrambled eggs – moist and fluffy. Bacons are addictive too.
