Menya Kokoro, 100AM – New Mala MazeSoba, Yuzu Pork Cold Ramen & Emma Soft Serve Floats

Menya Kokoro welcomes its second outlet at 100AM with four new offerings: Furious Mala MazeSoba, Furious Mala Ramen Soup, Yuzu Pork Hiyashi Cold Ramen and a vegan version Yuzu Vegan Hiyashi Cold Ramen.

The unique fusion of mala spices with mazesoba is probably the first-of-a-kind in Singapore and definitely sounds intriguing. For fans of spicy food, these fiery bowls of mazesoba are bound to tickle your tastebuds with their three levels of spiciness.

Till 15 August, enjoy a FREE special spicy Ultimate Furious Mala Mazesoba (not in menu) with every purchase of 3 mains (mazesoba, ramen or maze don). Applicable to every 4th diner in a group of four and has liked Menya Kokoro’s Facebook page.

The Furious Mala MazeSoba (Regular $14.80, Large $16.80) and Furious Mala Ramen Soup $14.80 are not for the faint-hearted. The spiciness comes from the marriage of Szechuan peppers, dried chilli strings and chilli oil which also fills each bowl with a sea of red.

The soup version comes in thinner springy ramen noodles while the dry one consists of chewy udon. The latter is heavier on the palate with its thick sauce, and each strand of udon is also beautifully coated in the glistening level three spicy sauce.

The Yuzu Pork Hiyashi Cold Ramen $13.80, on the other hand, boasts a zesty and invigorating note thanks to the addition of the yuzu sauce. It’s much more refreshing and lighter on the stomach. Each bowl is also topped with omelette strips, shredded spring onions, cucumber, tomato, tempura crisps, onsen egg and pork slices. As for the vegan option, the chashu is replaced with inari.

Also, exclusive to the outlet at 100AM is this upgraded version of the Mega Tokyo Maze Soba (Regular $12.80, Large $14.80.

New side dishes comprise of the Salted Kombu Cabbage $3.80 and Nagoya Style Kakiage $3.80 where thin strips of sweet potato, carrot, green pepper and onion are fried till crispy and glazed in savoury Nagoya-style sauce.

Located directly beside Menyo Kokoro is the popular Japanese dessert brand, Emma, that specialises in gravity-defying soft serve. 100AM is home to Emma’s second outlet where its first outlet is at basement two of Plaza Singapura.

Besides the signature Boba Taco Softie, there will be an outlet-exclusive range of Soft Float, featuring the icy and frizzy cold Sunny Soft Float $6.50, Virgin Mojito Soft Float $6.50, Pink Lady Soft Float $6.50, Green Tapioca Soft Float $6.30 and Black Tapioca Soft Float $6.30.
