Iron Supper Club – Multi-Cuisine Restaurant with 4-Grain Omu Rice & Pork Tomahawk

Helmed by celebrity chef Heman Tan (also known as Ironman Chef for his active training in Ironman triathlete races), Iron Supper Club prides itself on serving a variety of cuisines to satisfy all tastes and cravings. With dishes ranging from traditional European fare to healthy renditions of classic Japanese dishes, the menu is all inclusive, with a couple of quirks up its sleeve.

The aptly named Garden of Escargot ($14.90) is served with half a dozen escargot flambe right at your table for a theatrical touch. Well cooked with a slight burnt taste, this appetite-whetting starter is good for sharing between two to three diners.

Interestingly, there is an entire selection of starters and sides that are dedicated to solely potatoes or potato based dishes. Go for the Signature Mashed Potatoes ($5.50), deceptively simple but very creamy and delicious.

The Ice Fun Drinks ($6.90 – $7.90) are certainly one for the (Insta)gram, with the drinks served in a deconstructed fashion for diners to mix as they please. With the milk and syrup bases served separately in glass beakers and test tubes, and spoonfuls of jello and other colourful titbits on the side, this will bring you back to your science lab sessions in school.

Chef Heman’s dedication to plating up food that is not only delicious but also nutritious, shows in Iron Supper Club’s main dishes. For one, carb-heavy dishes like pasta and rice are prepared with smaller portions in exchange for more generous servings of greens and protein.

Two such dishes are the Spaghetti with Soft Shell Crab ($18.90) and Signature Omu Rice Beef Stroganoff ($16.90), the latter of which is served with signature “black berry” four grain rice.

Meat lovers can indulge in the Signature Grilled Bulan Pork Tomahawk ($48.90). The dry aged pork is served with Asian salad, Asian mala sauce, scallion dressing, and cilantro chili sauce for diners craving a spicier kick with their meats. For less ambitious diners, the Signature BBQ Iberico Sparerib ($43.90) is worth a try.

Sweet-toothed diners will definitely be at home at Iron Supper Club. The aptly named Sin Cuisine’s Desserts Will Make You Happy includes indulgent creations like Apple Crumble ($8.90), “Iron” Tiramisu Cake ($5.90), and Brownies ($8.90).
