Hyang To Gol Raffles City $12.90++ Lunch Set Promo with Free Yakult

Lunch time at Raffles City has always been a flurry of activities; and each time it is a mission to seek out a meal friendly for my pocket and at the same time, satisfying to my tummy. The basement at Raffles City is a food enclave. Lunch promotions fly through the air and the one that hits you will land you a spot in their restaurant for the next one hour.

Hyang To Gol Korean Restaurant’s lunch special has got my eyes fixed on it. At $12.90++, you get to dine at a discounted rate for selected items in their Ala carte menu. Each day from Monday to Friday, between 11AM to 3PM, the lunch special refreshes accordingly with a new dish. Diners can also opt for Brown Rice at an additional $1 and pair their meal with a Hot/Cold Barley Tea for another dollar too.

Monday: Seafood Beancurd Soup

Tuesday: Bibimbap

Wednesday: Half Ginseng Chicken Soup

Thursday: Spicy Stir-Fried Pork

Friday: Soybean Paste Stew

 

Every order comes with Korean Banchan (side dishes such as the kimchi, pickled cucumber and vinegar vegetables.

I arrived on a Monday, and had the Seafood Beancurd Soup for lunch. Having eaten the same dish for dinner during another visit, the proportion were comparatively the same. Ingredients were generous and I could find prawns, squid and tofu within. Sides were refillable too.

Upon payment, I was given a complimentary yakult. Good for digestion.
