Who doesn’t love a nice, cooling cup of yogurt drink?

HAYO Yogurt Bar, the healthier alternative to our beloved bubble tea, is making waves in Singapore since its opening this March.

Situated at 112 Middle Road in the Bugis area, this unassuming yogurt bar offers a range of yogurt beverages using 100% Australian cow milk. An insight into how the milk is farmed: The milk is first being heat-treating before incubating live probiotics in controlled parameters below 46°C, and during the next 24 hours, the milk will ferment and thicken into a rich and tangy yogurt.

The 500ml yogurt drink comes in various flavours where different ingredients ranging from fruits and vegetables to nuts and grains are blended together with the yogurt. Some of their recommended drinks include the Peachy Paradise (Peach) $6.80, Avo-Cardio (Avocado) $7.70, Yuzu Beautiful (Yuzu) $6.80 and High Passion (Passionfruit) $6.80.

My personal favourite is the High Passion which is tangy and not cloyingly sweet. It’s thick and rich texture might be filling but the drink definitely makes for an occasional guilt-free indulgence.

Rich in casein protein, vitamin B12, calcium, and probiotics, who says that these drinks won’t be a better replacement to your usual high-sugar/fat beverages!
