Chinese New Year is drawing closer and it’s time to start planning for your next lo-hei this 2019!
Let this spring festival pampered you with offerings from Ginger and Si Chuan Dou Hua Restaurant where you get to savour the best of both worlds. At Ginger, look forward to a myriad of auspicious delicacies put up by Executive Chef Vincent Aw. There is no excuse to miss out on the local favourites such as the Braised Pig Ear Terrine with Chinese Herbs, signature Black Pepper Crab and Cereal Crab.
Of course, this festive season calls for prosperity as you savour the Baby Lobster with Abalone Sauce, Abalone Fried Rice, and Braised Dried Oyster with Sea Moss, all symbolic of wealth.
Create your own Yu Sheng at the Yu Sheng counter and toss to greater heights! Huat ah~
Highlights include the Abalone Fried Rice that will spellbind you the prowess of wok hei and the Vinegar Pig’s Trotter served in a thick flavorful sauce.
New to the buffet line is the Roasted Suckling Pig with Kumquat Compote with the beloved crackling skin and fats underneath.
The Salted Egg Yolk Crab will be as equally satiating.
Tuck into these succulent lobster meats in a pool of rich Abalone Sauce too.
A rarity in buffets, expect to find the Braised Pig Ear Terrine which you can enjoy to your contentment.
Reunion feast is not without traditional Chinese desserts and goodies.
The tasty Mango Sago comes with generous bits of aloe vera while the Yam Paste is punctuated with lots of sweet potatoes and gingko nuts. The sticky Nian Gao also makes an appearance studded with coconut flakes and the Ondeh Ondeh is filled with a delicious sweetness. Hot favourites include the Chinese Eight Treasure Longan Soup with homemade Glutinous Rice Ball which you shouldn’t miss.
