Crystal Jade (Great World City) – New Cantonese Menu with Truffle Siew Mai, Seafood Congee & Homemade Organic Tofu

When it comes to timeless Cantonese delights and Hong Kong classics, Crystal Jade never fails to disappoint. Located at level three of the newly revamped Great World, Crystal Jade Hong Kong Kitchen continues to churn out family favourites, from baskets of piping hot dim sum to tasty congee and signature roast meats.

Those who have graced Crystal Jade long enough would have heard of their signature meats. Why not have the best of everything with the Roast Combination $25.80, featuring Crispy Roasted Pork belly, Roasted Duck and Soya Sauce Chicken.

The Steamed Siew Mai with Truffle ($7.50 for four pieces) comes highly recommended for its meaty filling, elevated with a dash of truffle paste for aroma and taste.

The Baked Egg Tart ($4.50 for three pieces) comprises of eggy custard encased in a flaky, melt-in-the-mouth pastry. This is so addictive that you might want to order some for takeaway too.

Other new dishes worth highlighting include the Premium Seafood Congee with Japanese Seaweed $13.80 (a new addition to the congee series), the extremely fragrant Fried Brown Rice with Black Bean Dace Fish & Egg White $15.80, Sautéed French Bean with Tai O Shrimp Paste & Minced Pork $13.80 and Steamed Homemade Organic Tofu topped with Assorted Seafood $18.80 like prawn and scallops.

Miss no desserts here as the Mango Puree with Pomelo & Sago $5.80 packs a rejuvenating punch of sweetness and sourness, perfect after a hearty meal.
