Canton Paradise at Marina Bay Sands Singapore offers Cute Dim Sum

The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands (MBS) has more than just celebrity restaurants and branded shops. Whether it is after a day of shopping or simply passing by, you can find Canton Paradise owned by the established Paradise Group tucked away at level one of MBS.

The Cantonese Restaurant features a range of Hong Kong specialties such as roast meats and dim sum, all of which reasonably priced to put your wallet at ease.

It’s okay if you can’t afford those luxury bags at MBS because Canton Paradise has its own version.

Edible bags in the form of Sweet Red Bean Pastry $6.80 will do good with their generous amount of red bean within plus you get a nutty crunchy texture the moment you bite into it. Yes they look legit with handles that you could lift… into your mouth.

The White Chocolate Walnut Bun $5.80 was a unique combination. The buns came fluffy and tearing it apart revealed walnut and molten white chocolate at its core. It was sweet and nutty with a bit of roasted flavours. Interesting.

I was excited to order the Cheese Tart $6.80. The golden bakes arrived to our table hot with flowing cheesy fillings. Like a mini lava waiting to explode in your mouth, this could get a bit messy while eating.

Hong Kong Street Style Steamed Rice Rolls with Sweet and Peanut Sauce $4.80 is Canton Paradise’s rendition of the Chee Cheong Fun made into cylinder-shaped and coated in a thick sauce. They were chewy and these would actually fill you up.

The Crispy BBQ Pork Bun $4.80 was alright. So gladly, Canton Paradise didn’t scrimp on the fillings and I got every bite of the bun with pork. The fillings were on the sweeter side and I thought the buns could be better though.

The must-order here is the Steamed Molten Salted Egg Yolk Custard Piggy Bun $6.80. Almost every table had this basket of cute dim sum. Definitely the most appealing food here which caught the eyes of many.

That iconic squeeze!

For my carb-loving friends, Canton Paradise also serves rice and noodle dishes. The Prawn Wanton Noodle $11.80 was pretty decent that came in a big bowl of thin springy noodles.

I love the Durian Pudding $5.60 very much and would recommend this! Silky and smooth, it was a pleasantly delicious dessert.

We had several other dishes as well and spent roughly $20 plus per pax for a group of three. It was a weekend night and the restaurant was packed. Food was decent and service was prompt.
