BreadTalk celebrates 20th Anniversary with Truffle Croissant, Soy Milk on Tap & Yayoi Kusama-inspired Pumpkin Bun at new Wheelock Place outlet

This year, BreadTalk celebrates its 20th anniversary with a new retail concept unveiled at its latest outlet at Wheelock Place on 28 August. Embracing the theme ‘The He(ART) of BreadTalk’, the new expanded offering will feature exciting flavours and modern creations, taste-wise and visually, while giving each bread a personality that speaks to you.

Look forward to the brand-new “Soy on Tap” station, churning out 100% house-brewed soy milk which are available in five variants – Soy Original $2.60, Soy Green Tea $2.60, Soy Latte $2.60, Soy Lychee $2.60 and Soy Matcha $2.70.

Pair your drinks with delicious asian-inspired pocket-sized sandwiches, namely the Impossible Sand $3.90 (consisting of a tasty combination of plant-based meat, fried egg, egg cream and pickled cucumber) , Strawberry Sand $2.60 and Truffle Crepe Sand $3.30 (boasting an addictive layer of egg crepe and truffle mousse between pillowy soft white breads).

The Truffle Tower $2.50 is one of the unique ones, featuring a cone-shaped chocolate-layered croissant infused with a generous amount of smooth truffle mousse.

Inspired by Japanese contemporary artist Yayoi Kusama, the Pol-Kabocha $1.70 is creatively crafted with polka dot-looking sesame seeds and a pumpkin shape bun that’s made with carrot dough.

Some other noteworthy creations include the Mr Cheesy P ($1.90, 2 for $3.20), spicy Seafood Laksa $2.30 and Impossible Pepper $2.60.

Inspired by the French Pierre Herme’s classic Lychee Rose Macaron flavor, the la creme Chantilly is prepared for 12 hours to enhance the taste of this Pretty Pink $25.80 round cake which has a very refreshing and palatable flavour.
